Dr. Meghan Tierney is board certified in Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine and is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner. She brings more than a decade of clinical experience and is known for her thoughtful, evidence-based approach to care.
Life Before Medicine
Before entering medicine, Dr. Tierney earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, an experience that taught her how to listen, communicate, and connect. She brings those same skills to every patient interaction, creating a collaborative, compassionate environment where women feel heard and supported.
Outside of Medcine
Dr.Tierney is married and the mother of 2 adorable kiddos who delight and challenge her every day. When she has free time she loves to garden and travel the world, a new passion for her. She has been in the same bookclub for 2 years and reads several books a month.
She values creativity and reflection as much as science. The same curiosity and compassion that guide her clinical work show up in the way she moves through the world, whether she’s exploring a new place, tending a garden, or making space for family and rest.
She strives to live the balance and self-trust she encourages in her patients.
You deserve care that listens, educates, and empowers.
